SALTASH HERITAGE - was formed in 1986 by the late Cornelius 'Corny' Hearl and a group of like minded local people who wanted to see the formation of a permanent museum for Saltash.
AIMS - Saltash Heritage aims to collect, conserve, display, and make available for research, material relevant to the history of Saltash and the PL12 postal area, and to maintain a museum.
MUSEUM - After many years' hard work and fund raising by the committee and members of Saltash Heritage, in 2000 one of the original aims of Saltash Heritage was met - the founding of a permanent museum in Saltash.
EXHIBITIONS - In the past, Saltash Heritage has held annual exhibitions on different themes in Saltash Guildhall. Now that the Museum has been established, it holds annual exhibitions in the Museum on differing themes, along with a small permanent display.
ACCREDITATION - After a lot of work by the committee, Saltash Heritage has been awarded Accreditation by the Arts Council.
